Pure media pharmaceutical water

The LSB project increased the production capacity of the Merck Serono Biotech Center at the Fenil-sur-Corsier site with a new building and two bioreactor lines. The production and storage of the pure media Highly Purified Water (HPW) and Water for Injection (WFI) are installed in the multi-story building on the first floor. The distribution of the media takes place over all floors to each individual consumer. HPW is produced with two generators and stored under ozone in two 30m3 tanks. The distribution is done by means of five loops into the different process areas.

WFI is produced with a distillation unit and hot stored in a 30m3 container. The distribution is done by means of two loops, each with a temperature-controlled sub-loop.

The specialists of TTSol were assigned the described tasks due to their expertise and experience in complex, interdisciplinary construction projects.
